This week, the global community of airport innovators, start-ups, visionary thinkers, researchers and top tech minds gathers at Rome Fiumicino Airport for AIRPORTS INNOVATE 2024. Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific has called for flexible regulatory policies, innovative procedures, greater efficiency and a better passenger experience as part of its long-term approach to help airports make a sustainable recovery.
Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific today announced Mr. Emmanuel Menanteau as the new President for the association’s Regional Board, succeeding Mr. Seow Hiang Lee, commencing June 1, 2022 to end of 2024.
On 16 May 2022, Airports Council International World (ACI World), Airports Council International Asia-Pacific (ACI Asia-Pacific) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to conduct research and studies and develop and deliver training for aviation professionals. The training will equip aviation professionals with new knowledge and skills to help them rebuild their respective aviation sectors which have been badly hit by the COVID-19 pandemic in the last two years.

The association’s membership now stands at 122 members operating 609 airports in 49 countries/ areas.
At the 16th Regional Assembly, ACI Asia-Pacific confirmed five new Board Directors and welcomed three new airport members.
ACI Asia-Pacific today announced that three airports operated by the Adani Group of India have become members of the regional airport association. The airports are Adani Ahmedabad International Airport Limited, Adani Lucknow International Airport Limited and Adani Mangaluru International Airport Limited.
ACI Asia-Pacific and IATA are joining ICAO MID in urging the governments in the Middle East to rapidly implement ICAO’s global guidelines for restoring air connectivity to ensure the safe and harmonized restart of aviation in the region.
