This week, the global community of airport innovators, start-ups, visionary thinkers, researchers and top tech minds gathers at Rome Fiumicino Airport for AIRPORTS INNOVATE 2024. Brisbane Airport Corporation has been advised that protected industrial action by security officers and the United Workers Union will take place at Brisbane and Gold Coast Airports on Monday 19 December.

As part of Riyadh Airports' strategic plan to enhance operations at the King Khalid International Airport, the Company has announced its cooperation with Amazon Web Services AWS and AIRIS to explore the application of the latest international technologies in the development of baggage handling systems and accompanying services at the King Khalid International Airport. The cooperation focused on developing artificially intelligent solutions for a proactive maintenance approach of the baggage handling system, utilizing industrial internet of things and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
