The topic of rising airfare trends was one of the focal points of discussions among airport leaders during the Board Meeting of the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), hosted by Cambodia Airports, in Phnom Penh.
The amendments to the existing Maps of Airport Area and Restricted Area Orders under the Airport Authority Ordinance (Cap. 483), made to reflect the changes in the boundaries of the Airport Area and Restricted Area arising from the latest developments in the facilities of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and the operation of the Three-runway System are effective from today. The independent Marine Ecology Enhancement Fund (MEEF) and Fisheries Enhancement Fund (FEF) have granted over HK$7.5 million for 12 projects, for a 12-month period from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.
