The topic of rising airfare trends was one of the focal points of discussions among airport leaders during the Board Meeting of the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), hosted by Cambodia Airports, in Phnom Penh.
Jetting across to Melbourne this summer just got easier with the upcoming launch of China Airlines service from Auckland Airport.
In line with growth and expansion plans, Sharjah Airport and Air Arabia announced the launch of the first direct flights from Sharjah to Republic of Poland, enhancing travel options for customers. The new route will initially operate with 3 weekly flights between Sharjah and Kraków, gradually increasing the number of flights in the future.
Air India Express (IX) is all set to increase frequency of its flights from Mangaluru International Airport to Abu Dhabi to a daily flight from July 22, 2024. At present, IX operates 4 flights in a week to the capital city of United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Bangalore International Airport Ltd, the operator of Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport), is pleased to announce that Air India will be launching non-stop services between Bengaluru and London Gatwick (LGW), commencing on August 18, 2024. The new route will feature five weekly flights, providing enhanced connectivity for both business and leisure travellers.
Representatives from Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) participated in the Macau Tourism Promotion and Industry Networking Event organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office in Seoul, South Korea, from 28th to 30th May 2024. Perth Airport's Chief Commercial and Aviation Officer Kate Holsgrove said that this announcement will provide a significant boost for Western Australia's tourism industry.
Air India Express has inaugurated new services from Kannur International Airport starting from May 1st, marking a significant milestone in the airport's journey. The airline commenced operations to Ras Al Khaimah, with flights scheduled thrice a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
