Jetstar will commence a three times-weekly service from Gold Coast Airport to Seoul by the end of the year – delivering 52,000 additional visitor seats to the region annually. Queensland Airports Limited CEO Chris Mills said the move represented a vote of confidence in the Gold Coast by Jetstar, which has operated international services to and from the city for more than a decade.
Sharjah Airport received Turkish Airlines’ inaugural flight from Istanbul. Starting in April, the airline will operate a daily flight to Sharjah Airport from Istanbul New Airport.
