Riyadh Airports Company (RAC) has announced that Intelligent Track Systems (ITS), with the corporation of Saudi Logistics & Technical Support (SALTS) company, has landed its fifth airport project within a year to supply smart shopping trolleys to the domestic Terminal 5 at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), one of the busiest airports in the Middle East region and which is managed and operated by RAC.
Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) in a passenger-centric move has ushered in automated parking system. Rolled out in a phased manner, the system is an integration of proven toll technologies, which will create a seamless experience for the passengers using this #GatewayToGoodness. The system will enhance safety and security for passengers and their vehicles while on the premises of this airport.
Amidst the ongoing recovery from the global pandemic and subsequent challenges within the air transport industry, Airport International Group has recorded noteworthy achievements in terms of traffic growth, global connectivity, decarbonization and customer experience during 2022.
In acknowledgment of its focus on continuous improvement in customer experience and services, Airport International Group announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has recently become the first airport in the Middle East to achieve Level 3 of the Airport Customer Experience Accreditation (ACEA) issued by Airports Council International World (ACI World), valid until December 2023. To this end, QAIA also became one of eight airports in the Middle East and 61 globally to have received an ACEA.
