This week, the global community of airport innovators, start-ups, visionary thinkers, researchers and top tech minds gathers at Rome Fiumicino Airport for AIRPORTS INNOVATE 2024. Macau International Airport (MFM) registered in 2019 a 13% increase in its Passenger overall satisfaction against previous year, scoring 4.23 (out of 5) in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) of Airport Council International (ACI).
ACI Asia-Pacific congratulates the winners of this year’s Airport Service Quality awards. The largest group of winning airports are from Asia-Pacific and the Middle East with a total of twenty-nine airports receiving recognition for their outstanding customer service excellence.

Passengers have again rated Newcastle Airport as one of the country’s best, with the 2019 international Airport Service Quality survey results giving the airport a very healthy endorsement.

Travellers with a hidden disability will find it easier to navigate their way through Melbourne Airport thanks to a new integrated hidden disability program.The program, which is the first of its kind for an Australian airport, consists of a lanyard system that alerts airport staff to travellers needing additional assistance throughout terminals 1 to 4.
