The topic of rising airfare trends was one of the focal points of discussions among airport leaders during the Board Meeting of the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), hosted by Cambodia Airports, in Phnom Penh.
The "World of Winners" air ticket giveaway campaign, sponsored by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), was launched in Guangzhou. A promotional launch event saw up to 300 free air tickets being given away as prizes, and thousands of local residents participated the event.

Over 1,000 people attended the launch event, which featured Hong Kong cultural performances and on-site games with more than 100 free air tickets given away as prizes. Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today hosted the "HKIA Community Cycling Competition" at the HKIA Community Building. More than 150 representatives from 18 organisations of the airport community, including AAHK, government departments, airlines and other business partners, as well as the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy, participated in the relay competition. The E-Cycling competition simulated a cycling competition on a 19km route from Sunny Bay to Disneyland.
