Airport International Group announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) served 675,209 passengers (PAX) in October 2024, reflecting an 8.6% decrease compared to the same month in 2023.
Dubai International (DXB) is on track for record-breaking annual traffic, following an impressive performance in the first nine months of the year. By the end of September, DXB had welcomed 68.6 million guests, laying a solid foundation for the typically high-traffic final quarter – a milestone made possible by the collective efforts of colleagues and partners who work tirelessly to maintain the airport’s leadership status.
Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today released the air traffic figures for Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for October 2024. During the month, HKIA handled 4.55 million passengers and 31,625 flight movements, representing year-on-year increases of 21.3% and 20.3%, respectively.
Mangaluru International Airport, managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), set a new benchmark by managing the highest number of passengers on November 9, 2024. The airport processed 7,637 passengers on this day, making it the highest ever since AAHL’s Commercial Operation Date (COD) of October 31, 2020.
Mangaluru International Airport handled a total of 202,892 passengers, comprising 138,902 domestic and 63,990 international travelers, an average of 6,500 passengers per day in October 2024. The number of passengers handled in October 2024 is an improvement over the 189,247 passengers processed in September 2024. The airport achieved the previous highest number for FY 2024-25 – 199,818 passengers – in August 2024.
In 2024, Macau International Airport (MIA) has demonstrated robust growth. Over the first ten months of the year, passenger volume reached 6.34 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 56.92%, aircraft movements reached over 49 thousand with 49.37% increase compared to that of the previous year.
Hamad International Airport (DOH) has reported serving 13.7 million passengers in the third quarter (Q3) of 2024, reflecting a robust 7.9 per cent growth compared to the same period last year. Point-to-point traffic also experienced growth by 11.7 per cent, contributing to the airport's overall performance.
Wellington Airport has announced its unaudited results for the six months ended 30 September 2024 with revenue growth of 18.6% to $91 million and EBITDAF before subvention payment up by 25% to $63 million from the same period last year.[i]
