ACI Asia-Pacific Participates in the FIFA World Cup Peer Review 2022 in Qatar

ACI Asia-Pacific was one among the international experts to participate in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Peer Review Meeting in Qatar to assess Doha Airports' readiness to welcome passengers for the global event.

Representing ACI Asia-Pacific, our Director General Stefano Baronci has provided his opinions to help the operators of Doha Airports to plan and prepare to host fans from around the world visiting Doha to witness one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

We are confident that, with ample runway and airfield capacities, aided with world-class passenger terminal facilities, both Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport have the capability to efficiently handle the expected influx of aircraft and passengers traveling to and from Qatar during the FIFA World Cup 2022.
