Airport Authority Gives Away Air Tickets to Passengers from Korea, the US and Canada to Visit Hong Kong in Mid-May

The “World of Winners” air ticket giveaway campaign organised by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) is giving away air tickets to travellers from Korea, the United States and Canada to visit Hong Kong in mid-May.

Starting today, AAHK is giving away tickets to Korean travellers through Cathay Pacific Airways, HK Express and Hong Kong Airlines, with Greater Bay Airlines also offering their tickets in support of the giveaway campaign. Over 24,000 tickets will be given away in total.

The “World of Winners” campaign will also be launched in the US and Canada starting from 18 May (Hong Kong time).  

AAHK bought some 500,000 tickets from the airlines in 2020 when the pandemic was causing unprecedented impact to air traffic, with a view to supporting the industry and making use of the tickets to promote traffic recover when the pandemic subsides.
