Connecting Yangon with Phuket Twice a Week from March 2018

Yangon International Airport (YIA), the largest and busiest airport in Myanmar capable of handling 20 million passengers, now directly connects Yangon with Phuket, Thailand with twice-weekly flights operated by Myanmar National Airlines (MNA). Travelers can now enjoy the direct service from Yangon to Phuket starting 25 March.

 

Utilizing a 100-seat Embraer E190 aircraft/ Boeing 737 – 800 NG for the new service, MNA has set the fare for a round trip from Yangon – Phuket – Yangon starting from 210 USD. This new route will undoubtedly boost tourism between Yangon, commercial capital city of Myanmar, and Phuket, a popular holiday destination which is renowned for its excellent beaches and resorts set on the Andaman Sea.
