  • 21 Mar 2018

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that dedicated business jet terminal ”Premium Gate 玉響 -Tamayura-” for both international and domestic passengers will open in early June 2018 in the Terminal 2 Domestic area. Equipped with security checkpoint and CIQ (customs, immigration and quarantine), the new terminal also f eatures a drop-off and pickup area, car park, a meeting room, a reception desk and a lounge, all dedicated to business aviation passengers, who are currently using immigration facilities for general passengers in Terminal 1. The new facility, upon completion, will offer smoother processes as well as a high level of privacy to business jet travelers.

With globalization accelerating at a rapid pace, business jet services, now mainly popular in Europe and the U.S., are expected to increase in Asian countries.

This new amenity has been developed with a view to meet an expected increase in business jet demand due to a series of upcoming events including the G20 Osaka summit and Rugby World Cup in 2019 as well as the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

We continue to offer our guests a smooth, comfortable and rich experience in safe and secure environments.
