HKIA Virtual Job Fair 2021 Showcases Over 1,000 Airport Job Openings

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) and the Labour Department will jointly launch the second Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Virtual Job Fair on 2 and 3 December, highlighting more than 1,000 job openings at over 30 companies across the airport community.

The opportunities offered at the HKIA Virtual Job Fair 2021 cover a wide variety of different roles at HKIA, including air cargo, airport security, baggage handling, technical services, engineering, customer service and more. Participants can visit exhibiting companies’ virtual booths online, browse vacancies and chat with company representatives to apply for jobs and arrange interviews.

Florence Chung, Executive Director, Human Resources & Administration of AAHK, said, “Following the success of last year’s event, we are happy to host the HKIA Virtual Job Fair again this year. In addition to applying for job openings at various airport companies, candidates can also apply for AAHK’s Management Trainee Programme and Graduate Engineer Programme, which nurture talented youths to support the future development of the airport. We believe that global air travel will recover gradually, offering promising career prospects in the aviation industry.”

The two-day event will feature six live webcast career talks to provide information about different roles in the aviation industry, as well as advice on job hunting and interviews. A talk about AAHK’s Management Trainee Programme will be hosted on 2 December from 1215hrs to 1245hrs. Current management trainees will join the post-talk chatroom to share their experience and answer questions from participants.
