Jetstar Japan to Launch New Daily Service from KIX to Kumamoto

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that Jetstar Japan will begin new daily service between Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Kumamoto, beginning October 27, 2018.


The airline will operate flights on the KIX-Kumamoto route for the first time in three years since March 2016. This will make Kumamoto the sixth destination added to the airline’s current service from KIX to Hong Kong, Narita, Okinawa, Sapporo, and Fukuoka.


Jetstar Japan, the nation’s largest budget carrier, operates over 100 daily flights with its 22 aircraft, serving more than 4.7 million passengers a year.


Kansai Airports will continue to expand both domestic and international air travel network to deliver a more convenient, pleasant and enjoyable travel experience for all passengers.
