KIX Terminal 1 Renovation Stores Selected for the New Commercial Area

Kansai Airports is excited to announce the selection of the stores and restaurant to open in the new 
commercial area in the phase 3 of the ongoing Terminal 1 (T1) renovation at Kansai International 
Airport (KIX).

The new commercial area will house the total of 13 restaurant and stores including retail shops, 
duty-free shops, and other services at the international departure area on the fourth floor, the 
international arrival area on the third floor, and the food court “Tasty Street” on the second floor.

The T1 renovation will have the grand opening in spring 2025, and when the 2025 Expo OsakaKansai opens, KIX will be a gateway to Kansai for visitors from around the globe.

Kansai Airports Group will continue to work on the renovation together with our partners to enhance 
airport functions of KIX as a gateway to Kansai, with safety and security as the top priorities.
