Korean Air Launched Macau-Seoul Route Service

On 1st July 2024, Korean Air officially launched its daily Seoul to Macau route. The flight from Seoul to Macau departs from Incheon International Airport at 9:15 p.m. Seoul time and arrives Macau International Airport at 11:55 p.m. local time. The return flight from Macau to Seoul departs at 1:10 a.m. and arrives Incheon International Airport at 6:00 a.m. Seoul local time, with flight duration of approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes. Korean Air noted that as the international travel market is gradually recovering, the demand for high-quality air services is also increased. Macau International Airport (MIA) will actively respond to market trends and passengers’ needs, while continuously optimize the route allocation of Macau International Airport to provide passengers with a more comfortable, convenient and pleasant travel experience.

 

Macau International Airport is continuously expanding its diverse range of routes and airlines, and further optimize the network coverage of MIA to meet the differentiated needs of passengers. With Korean Air joined, the route network from Macau to Northeast Asia and transit options will be further enriched. Passengers departing from Macau can utilize the one-ticket luggage check-through service to travel with ease to numerous countries and regions.

 

Besides, Korean Air has also announced the commencement of thrice-weekly flights from Seoul to Lisbon, Portugal, starting on 11th September 2024, with a transit time of approximately six hours. At that time, passengers can enjoy the luggage check-through service with a single ticket from Macau via Lisbon to Seoul. This will further strengthen the role of Macau as the service platform for trade and tourism cooperation between the Mainland of China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
