Macau International Airport Awarded ACI Airport Customer Experience Accreditation

Macau International Airport has successfully attained the Airport Customer Experience Accreditation (ACE) - Level 1 which is awarded by the Airport Council International (ACI) on 17 May 2021.

Nowadays, air market is fiercely competitive.  Not only the quality of products and services is concerned, passengers are also expecting higher quality of customer service. Henceforth, the Airport Customer Experience Accreditation program is developed by ACI for all its member airports as the first customer experience accreditation in aviation industry. The program provides airports the assessment on their current customers experience management and the measurement on how the customer experience will be improved with relevant entities.

Macau International Airport started working on the Airport Customer Experience Accreditation program from March 2021 and submitted a comprehensive set of information including work explanations, procedures, photos and videos substantiating the formal proposal to ACI in April 2021 for level verification. The evaluation was carried out from three aspects, namely Customer Understanding, Strategy and Measurement.  On 17th May 2021, Macau International Airport was officially awarded the Airport Customer Experience Accreditation - Level 1 by ACI, which affirmed the effort of Macau International Airport on enhancing quality of customer experience. 

Throughout the years, Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) has always been in line with Macau SAR Government development of policies building Macau as a World Tourism and Leisure Centre and striving to provide comfortable and pleasant travel experience. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Macau International Airport has implemented the epidemic prevention and control works while constantly optimize the quality of customer service to provide the passenger a safety and even more comfortable environment, so as to strengthen passenger confidence to accelerate recovery of tourism industry of Macau.
