Macau International Airport Successfully Renewed the ACI Airport Customer Experience Accreditation Level 2

Macau International Airport (MIA) has successfully renewed the Airport Customer Experience Accreditation (ACE) Level 2, as awarded by Airport Council International (ACI) on 1st September 2023.  Gratitude to all working teams in Macau International Airport, their joint work affirmed the quality of customer experience to passengers travelling at MIA and consequently has brought this honour once again in 2023.

 

The Airport Customer Experience Accreditation program is developed by ACI for all its member airports as the first customer experience accreditation in aviation industry. The program provides airports the assessment on their current customers experience management and the measurement on how the customer experience will be improved with relevant entities. In 2023, the Airport presented its Level 2 renewal assessment to ACI in August.

 

The year of 2022 was challenging, MIA encountered huge slump in its traffic, attribute to the pandemic. The Airport strove hard to sustain its competiveness in the customer services, add-on amenities were provided for easing passenger’s travel anxiety during this critical time. In 2023, it is delighted that its traffic resumption is under way when all epidemic preventive measures have been suspended. There are new customer-oriented projects to be launched, it will create new airport experience for passengers of MIA.   

 

MIA understands excellence is grounded on good communication, the Airport always listens, trusts and makes possible for opinions from passengers as well as members in its teams, whether they are frontline or back office given communication is always the priority in this airport.
  
Representative from Airport Operations Department of Macau International Airport Company Limited attended the Award Ceremony held by ACI on 6th September 2023 in Seoul. Once again, MIA would like to express its appreciation to all stakeholders and airport staff for their continuous efforts and professionalism have made this accreditation possible. MIA will continue to pursue higher standards in customer experience for the benefit of the passengers in the coming years.
