Osaka International Airport Became No.1 in the World of All the Airports In OAG on-time Performance Ranking

Kansai Airports is excited to announce that Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport) was ranked world No.1 in the OAG Punctuality League 2023. This is a survey of global rankings of on-time performance of the world’s airlines and airports, released by OAG Aviation Worldwide Limited (“OAG”),  a UK-based organization that collects and provides aviation information.

We believe that the world No. 1 in the “Top 20 Airports” ranking was awarded to us because we have been able to maintain the best on-time performance thanks to all the airlines operating at the airport, continuously aiming for on-time operations, as well as the initiatives for fast travel, such as deployment of smart lanes.

Kansai Airports will continue to make concerted efforts to ensure on-time flight operation and to create 
airports where customers can use the airport comfortably.
