Perth Airport Renews Cleaning Contract

  • 2022-05-11

Perth Airport is pleased to announce the renewal of OCS Australia’s cleaning contract for a three-year period. The contract will ensure passengers and visitors traveling through Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 continue to benefit from the highest hygiene standards.

“The OCS team worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to ensure our terminals were safe and sanitized at all times. Their role was also critical in us securing our Airport Health Accreditation during the pandemic which saw us recognised as the first airport in Australia to obtain a global Covid-safe airport rating,” said Perth Airport’s Chief Operating Officer, Scott Woodward.

“It’s great to have a partner who is aligned to our values and focused on our people and the airport users. It has been a challenging two years and OCS has continued to support and add value across the Airport”, he continued.

OCS Managing Director Australia and New Zealand, Gareth Marriott, said the OCS cleaners had been the invisible frontline of the pandemic since March 2020.

“We are incredibly proud of the care and effort that the Team has put into their work over the past two years. Their enduring professionalism and contribution to Perth’s COVID response is truly inspiring. There is no doubt their work has played a role in limiting the spread of COVID-19 through Western Australia.”
