Taoyuan Airport Educare Service Center Launched to Support Workers in Community

Following more than a year of planning and preparation, the ”Taoyuan International Airport Educare Service Center” was expectedly opened in August 2022, where a sapling implying the little children will grow and thrive under the irrigation of colorful nutrients on the grand opening ceremony.

As the first state-owned enterprise to set up both a “Child Care Center” and a “Educare Service Center”, Taoyuan International Airport Corporation(TIAC) is also the first entity in Ministry to provide child care service for those aged 0-6. LIN, Kuo-shian, the chairman of TIAC, used the proverb “It takes a village to raise a child” to express his expectation that Taoyuan International Airport serves as an Airport village. Through the collaboration and cooperation of all units, a loving and warm atmosphere for the front-line work forces can be fostered so that employees can dedicate themselves to the work without any worries.

TIAC is committed to cultivating a joyful workplace as it builds a sense of belonging and cohesiveness among its employees and attracts outstanding talents to join the team that caring for employees and implementing ESG. The Minister of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, WANG, Kwo-tsai, also affirmed that TIAC responds to the national child care policy for ages 0-6, and provides more options for employees toward childcare services. Therefore, children will learn and grow up in an environment full of love and happiness.
