Thai VietJet to launch KIX-Chiang Mai route, first for Kansai International Airport

Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that Thai VietJet (VZ) is set to launch a new route between KIX and Chiang Mai on Friday, February 17, 2023.
Thai VietJet is an airline based in Bangkok that started its operation in 2015, and this is the first direct flight connecting KIX and Chiang Mai. The destination city, Chiang Mai, is one of Thailand's most popular tourist destinations, along with Bangkok and Phuket, where visitors can experience northern Thai cuisine and traditional culture, as well as trekking through the jungle.
Kansai Airports Group will continue to strive to expand its airline network to improve customer convenience and create comfortable and enjoyable travel experiences.
