Velana International Airport sets a New Air Traffic Record

Velana International Airport (VIA) has set a new Air Traffic Movement (ATM) record on Saturday on February 19, 2022. 

A total of 839 ATMs were recorded which included 210 runway movements and 629 seaplane movements. The previous record was on January 2, 2022, with total 826 movements. The new record has been made after just a little more than a month has passed.  

As of now, a total of 35 international airlines operate to the Maldives which are schedule and charter flights.
