In a significant milestone, ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) to run a pilot to support the airport establish a comprehensive framework on environmentally sustainable initiatives to achieve its Net Zero emissions goals.

Hamad International Airport has implemented the latest technologies to optimize passenger and employee safety in preparation for post-COVID-19 travel. The airport will be using robotics and advanced thermal screening helmets as part of the measures being introduced for the Post-COVID-19 era.
As part of its commitment regarding airport maintenance, safety and health/hygiene to all airport users and industry business partners, YACL, the operator of Yangon International Airport has strengthened the type and frequency of airport maintenance, as well as the cleaning and disinfection processes in all areas within YIA's premises, taking advantage of the enforced temporary ban (restrictions) for all international flights, as a preventive measure for the containment the COVID-19 viral outbreak.
