Sustainability and its implications on human resources were the central topic of discussion at the recent ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Human Resources Committee meeting in Kobe, Japan. Amadeus has acquired a minority stake in CAPHENIA, a future producer of synthesis gas, the feedstock of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The German-based company has developed an innovative approach to produce SAF in a more affordable and scalable way. The decision is part of a wider commitment on behalf of Amadeus to support the industry on its journey toward sustainable travel.
The 17th Meeting of ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Environment Committee was successfully convened in Kobe, Japan on 14-15 May 2023. The meeting was attended by over 35 environmental sustainability experts from airports and World business Partners in Asia-Pacific and Middle East region.
