TÜV Rheinland (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is the branch of TÜV Rheinland Group in Shanghai established in 1989. Located in the TÜV Rheinland Building in Shanghai's Jing'an District, the building covers an area of approximately 30,000 square meters, including over 22,000 square meters of laboratory space, making it the largest and most technologically advanced independent testing complex in Asia. The business scope of TÜV Rheinland (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. covers industrial services and information security, transportation services, product services, training and consulting services as well as system certification services, and is the largest overseas branch of the Group and one of its six global technical assessment centers. With more than 1,300 employees and assets of more than RMB300million, TÜV Rheinland (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has also become the regional headquarters of a multinational company (Greater China) in 2020.
