Kansai Airports & J-Air to Hold 7th Sora No Ichi Noryosai - Fresh Seafood, Fruits, Vegetables And Specialties From All Over Japan

Kansai Airports is partnering with J-AIR Corporation once again to hold the 7th ITAMI Sora no Ichi Noryosai, or a pop-up market, at Osaka International Airport (ITAMI) on July 9 and 10.

Based at ITAMI, J-AIR operates an extensive route network, connecting Osaka to cities large and small across Japan. The regional commuter airline promotes the revitalization of regional 
economies through its activities such as introducing local specialties in flight and participating in local events. As part of this effort, J-AIR has collaborated with ITAMI to hold Sora no Ichi, providing opportunities for airport guests to buy fresh produce and specialties transported by air from the destinations linked to ITAMI.

The upcoming market will feature a wide variety of much-loved delicacy and fresh seafood carefully selected by local staff of the JAL Group from all over Japan. Products like sea urchin, live scallop, live abalone, and candied apples, as well as Bin-don (bottled seafood), puddings, and local breads that have been popular at previous Sora no Ichi will arrive on morning flights and hit the store shelves on both days. What is more, limited-edition goods produced in collaboration between J-AIR and Kansai Airports Group’s official mascot character Sorayan will be available for purchase at the event.

This time, a one-hour free parking ticket will be given to each customer visiting the airport by car with a purchase of 3,000 yen (including tax) or more. Also, the limited number of customers 
will enjoy discount by presenting their JAL credit card. Come make a delicious encounter at ITAMI!
